Karen grew up on a Western Oregon farm. She and her husband Roger have three adult sons and five grandkids so far. She loves all things outdoors, food growing and preservation, and any good way to reduce/reuse/recycle! She serves the Presbytery of the Cascades as a member of the Commission on Preparation for Ministry, which guides people under its care from inquiry to ordination in PCUSA.
